Take it from someone that used to do the same thing, don't, and dump any and all alcohol down the drain and put the bottles in the trash. All of it even if you have a new 1 liter bottle. I had to do that becuase of the temptations of being upset and trying to drown my sorrows with alcohol. I came to the conclusion that I needed to have my head level to handle and understand my emotions during the time I'm dealing with my wife's affair. You can do it.
