Alone Forever

We were best friends

We were also lovers

Only to each other

We showed our true colors

But then in the end

It did not last

Our relationship faded

It faded all too fast

It so was not fair

The way it would end

I didn't even say goodbye

I wasn't with you then

But now I have a chance

To give you my goodbye

But i'm not sure I can

It would surely make me cry

As I'm telling you this

I'm realizing all my fears

My body can't restrain anymore

It's releasing all my tears

Why were you taken from me?

What did I do so wrong?

I need you to come back

Without you i'm not strong

I cannot live without you

But I must endeavor

I lost my soul mate to death

Now I live alone forever

That's an absolutely beautiful poem!

But if you are the subject- I doubt someone that writes so eloquently and can pour forth such beautiful poetry will be alone forever.
