So, yeah, my feelings are really hurt and she expects it is just going to fluff over . Nope .

And she says that in front of my son who is totally shocked his mouth hanging open and he says , Nana, what the F that is a horrible thing to say to my mom.

Well this devolved quickly . Because I didn’t “ buy her a treat” and I said well you ate an entire large chocolate bar and a can of nuts I didn’t think you would need a “ treat” I am apparently “ like my father” and make her feel worthless. I am ***ing FUMING . She says saying you ACTED like your father in that instance and you ARE like your father are different therefore okay to say. No the F it ain’t and there couldn’t be a bigger insult to me and it was done on purpose . Now I am “ mean” and she went for a drive .

I don’t think there is a “ lowest form of man” unless we are talking about child molesters and murders. I think there are a lot of people that have accumulated damage over their lifetime .

Ah, yeah I don’t like that and never acted that way . My husband used to fall for that. I call it Capt Save A Hoe. He isn’t like that anymore thankfully. However, recently he interceded for one of his public employees( female) and got slammed by a fellow government employee. ( female) I said let them fight it out .

There is that too. Sometimes it is maladaptive.

Yesterday was 20C and the trees burst to life . Even the grape vine on the side of the house is getting buds. Spring is here .

I guess it depends on the generation. My husband was recently chided in an email at work for offering help to a female employee. I told him not to bother that today’s woman doesn’t want help. Let them take their slings and arrows and consequences etc it isn’t worth the chiding, however I do like help and realize the intention is well meant .

I start work tomorrow as a bus monitor.

That is a good thing. Every relationship needs boundaries ones that don’t fail.

I finally have to admit no more nuts ever again. I was vomiting and vomiting and stuck to the toilet for hours today after eating nuts . Vomiting and diarrhea are signs of food allergy.
