how do I deal?

I posted a thread a few days ago explaining my situation with this guy. My nephews last day was on Friday and I haven't heard anything from him yet. I know it's only been 24 hours but I'm not very optimistic that this is going to go in my favor. I guess my first question is there a certain time limit on how long it would take him to respond if he were to ( I'm aware everyones different, but I mean in general)? Also, i don't know how to get past this and I don't want it to consume me, how can I do that? I'm so confused with everything that has happened in the past year and a half with this man. I have alot of unanswered questions that I'll probably never get answered or will never understand.

Well, you could always initiate contact with him instead of just waiting for him to contact you.

i did. I gave him a letter over a month ago. He told someone he couldn't respond because they are not allowed to have contact, friendly or whatever, with those involved with the daycare. He also said to let me know he definitely didn't have a problem with me. My nephews last day was Friday.
