What is the difference between "dating" and "seeing each other"??

Recommended Posts

I'm actully under the opinion that there IS a difference, a very BIG difference when it comes to the level of commitment. I've come to this conclusion based on my own experiences with different men and also from what I have been told by my male friends.

When a guy says that they are dating you they are your boyfriend and you are their girlfriend. But if he says you are only seeing each other then while you may go out on dates he is NOT your boyfriend.

If you are seeing someone then it is a casual thing, you are not boyfriend/girlfriend and there is little or maybe no commitment

when you are dating then you are committed to each other and can call each other boyfriend and girlfriend

it is all v. confusing really :s
