Should I make the first move?

I met a girl about a month ago through my sister's friend, who is actually her cousin. She moved in with her aunt because her mother was abusive and not responsible.

 

Anyways, she had wanted to meet me for the longest time. So we did and we hit it off well. She's made it pretty clear that she likes me and calls me cute all the time. But she never says that we're boyfriend and girlfriend, and told her grandma yesterday that we're just friends. That night on the drive home we sat in the back and she fell asleep on my arm. I thought for sure we'd kiss at the end of the night but it never happened. The last 3 times I've seen her she's walked with me to my car, we've hugged, and I've left. I want to kiss her but don't want it to be awkward. I'm kind of shy and in past relationships the girl has made the move. But I'm not sure if she will. Any advice?

I would definitely not call someone my boyfriend if we had not kissed. However, good news: I'm pretty sure she likes you! Next time you are alone with her, go for it. I'm sure if you start to lean your head in she will meet you halfway.

Oh she most certainly likes you. She's actually making it quite obvious (to an outsider, at least), and I think you're safe making just about any move you want.

Yeah, so we're meeting up tomorrow and I'm gonna kiss her. Should the first kiss be a make out type kiss or just sort of like a peck? I just want it to be perfect.

 

Sorry, but this is the first relationship I've really had where I've had to be the initiator. Not really sure.

Umm, First kiss? I wouldn't push making out on the first kiss, especially if you've never really initiated it before.

I'd suggest a small peck, but not like you kiss your grandmother, heh.

Then from there, you can interpret what you do next based on her actions.

Just dont over-do it
