Sorta Complicated Situation...

So I've had a good friend for about 9 months now. Over time we've grown to be best friends. But since the beginning, we've gradually started liking eachother...alot. ( I love her) But the thing is, she has a boyfriend of 2 years. For a while now, she has been wanting to break up with him but she can't do it. She loves him too much and would hate to break his heart. So all this time, I've just been waiting for her to break up with him. She keeps telling me to hang on cause she'll probably do it soon. But I don't know if I should keep waiting. I love her so much and it would take me soooo long to find another girl who even compares to my best friend. Any advice?

let it go. Don't hang on. If she really likes you, and if she's really that great-she'd of broken up with him when she first had the idea. Its not fair to string either one of you along. Have more pride, you're better then to just be waiting in the wings
