My boyrfriend broke up with me less than a week ago and I just found out he is already interested in someone else. I can't even describe how I feel right now. I really thought he was in love with me but I guess I so wrong. I feel like such an idiot. The only thing that comforted me before was thinking he might be missing me even a little. We have had no contact since the break up. I just feel awful. Please tell me this gets better soon.

It does suck but it really does get better after a while you realise that in reality he was the idiot not you.

I've had similar things happen .. In one case, the day after my ex broke up with me, he started dating my best friend (they broke up 2 weeks later).......

 

Yes, it does get better... Just realize that he is obviously not the one for you, and you are free to find the one who is.

I'm so sorry Milly. I know how you feel, and I do promise it will get better, he doesn't deserve you. You're worth a lot more than he has to offer. You'll see that sooner than you think. Hang in there, this will pass.

I'm so sorry you have to go through this right now but as everyone mentioned, it will get better through time. I pretty much had a similar situation happen to me and I'm currently at exactly 2 months of NC at the moment. I am at the point where I'm glad the relationship ended. It made me realize that I deserve a man who will stick with me through thick and thin and love me for who I am. Take care and best of luck!
