Women, how important are looks on a guy?

Ross isn't hideous. There is no known reason why he can't get a date...except that his frame of mind is in the way and he seems to have a rough time changing it.

 

We all like Ross and try to help him out, but with every compliment he shoots us down...obviously there is something not quite right inside of him. And yes, I agree not having empathy and saying "my problems are way worse and will always be here until I die" shows a lot of self pity if nothing else.

I know so many women that have been raped, or in abusive relationships. Even after they have broken up and moved thousands of miles away, they still live in tremendous fear of their lives, afraid that the ex will show up and kill her. And, it does happen.

 

This is so true. I was in an abusive relationship and it took me 10 years to get over the fear of him finding me and my kids and killing us.

 

It sometimes helps to remember when you are so caught up in feeling sorry for yourself that there are others far worse off than you.
