intense eye contact

i have read a little here about how people experience glances or extended eye contact from strangers and those they know, but what about very extended eye contact? eye contact where you just can't stop? with someone you hardly know? what exactly is that?

for more than five to ten, maybe even more than thirty seconds...maybe minutes off and on. it's kind of scary, actually.

Yes it would be kind of scary with a steady staring or eye contact that lasted more than a few minutes. Especially from a stranger. If its just a few seconds of eye contact off and on, it would seem more like a flirting type thing.

From what your saying sounds more like there trying to stare you out and starting a fight. But thats just my view and well I doubt thats whats happened.

erm, well talk to them and if they dont like you they wanted to have a fight or intimidate you. If they do like you well they were probs flirting.

If he/she is more of an acquaintance than a stranger, then he/she is probably interested in you. I will never bother to maintain intense eye contact with an acquaintance I am not interested in.

 

3 questions you should ask yourself if your intention is to find out if he/she is interested in you:

 

1. Is this person male or female?

2. Is he/she dropping you any other signs?

3. Do you return him the same intense gaze?

ARE YOU INTERESTED IN HIM/HER?
