dnb007
Hey, I just have a question....If a girl is 2 weeks late on her period already, is there a chacne of her getting pregnant if she had sex 2 weeks late? I had a firend ask me this and no she is not pregnant already...just irregular periods.
needafriend
Ah... Yes... Tell her to get tested immediately. 2 weeks late is very unusual even for someone with irregular periods

HajiMaji
Some girls just have irregular periods. Pregnancy tests help ease the mind.
needafriend
As far as I know, she hasnt been having sex since....2 years ago Are you saying she hasnt had sex in two years?! Im extremely confused... Maybe state your question again... If she hasn't had sex, how could she possibly be pregnant?
armchairshrink
Ah... Yes... Tell her to get tested immediately. 2 weeks late is very unusual even for someone with irregular periods If her periods are truly irregular, she could go for months without having one. Two weeks late is an eyeblink by comparison. But I agree with needafriend, if she's had sex, tell her to do the test. The in-home tests are quite accurate unless the user smokes pot -- then she could get a false positive. If your friend really does have irregular periods, she needs to be MORE careful than most, not less! Irregular periods mean you don't know when you're going to ovulate, not when your flow will start (the former causes the latter). Tell your friend to use protection every time!!
