Raven44
Is schiophrenia (sp?) hereditary? My mother is a diagnosed schiophrenic (not on meds) and she is quite bad. She brought me up and I sometimes feel like her illness effected how she taught me. Could I end up like she is? This is something that has worried me for a very long time. Thanks for any insight. DN
Here is a web page that may help you. If you are really concerned you should talk to your doctor for a really informed opinion. link removed Link to comment
Raven44
Thanks DN. I have talked to my doctor about it and she sent me to a shrink (no insult intended) I talked with him and he said I seemed fine to him and if i wanted to come back i could. I have never had much help when i have talked to a professional about my worries. So now I am just confused. Link to comment
DN
You seem fine to me too - but then I'm not a shrink!! Link to comment
