He continuously gives me fist pumps

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say that the fist bump is this guy's way of trying to touch you while maintaining deniability. I say that, because the awkward waving at you is a dead give-away. He's keeping his eye out for you in the office, notices whenever you walk by, wants to touch you so he fist bumps you, because, well, HR... In the end, I think what he really wants is to start having lunches with you, long walks on the beach, and babies. Yep - he's showing that level of immaturity.

 

Next time he does it, try this. When he sticks his fist out, look him straight in the eye, stick your tongue way out and drag it across your knuckles while still maintaining eye contact with him, then fist bump him.

 

I don't know what that will achieve... but I'm fascinated to find out, so keep us posted!
