SleepyNightOwl
I'll try and keep this relatively short as beat I can. Back story(kinda): Basically in a previous relationship (my first love) we had a long drawn out break out that has still stuck with me throughout any possible or actual relationships I've formed ever since. Current situation: I broke up with my girlfriend around a month ago now; at the time I thought I had broken up with her because I wasn't as serious about the relationship as she was and I didn't want to repeat history. However now I fell like I just tricked myself into thinking that because I was scared we were getting to serious and I didn't want to go through the pain of another horrible break up. So I ask; should I tell her all this and possibly get back together risking her denial and causing a large amount of awkward turmoil in out friend group or just leave it be and deal with my mistake? MissCanuck
If you regret it, you need to talk to her. Yes, she might reject you. But unless you open the conversation and start communicating, you will never know how this could develop. Link to comment
