How do you tell if a girl likes you as a friend, or a lover

What are signs that define the two apart from each other, I have been friends with this girl for 3-4years, and now i see that i have feelings for her, my friends say they think she likes me as a boyfriend, but i cant help but think shes only being a friend, what are some ways to tell, PLZ HELP!

The most obvious way I can tell if someone wants to be more than a friend is by their body actions and movements. Usually, you can tell if someone has feelings for you by this. Some examples would be if when you two are hanging out, and she is right next to you. If you two are close side by side, then that is a good sign. I knew my girl had feelings for me when we watched movies and she would get up close to me, touch my hair, play footsy (I know that sounds stupid). Any time she touches you in any way is always a good sign. Also, when you she is talking to you, try to see if she is looking at you and studying your face. Are her eyes locked onto your face? Another way to determine if she has feelings for you is if she constantly wants to and is talking to you. Do you two talk long on the phone? I believe that if you have had a good solid friendship that has been easy flowing, there is an excellent chance she has feelings for you. Good close friends have tendencies to have feelings for eachother because they know eachother really well and feel extremely comfortable around eachother. Well...I hope I have helped you out man. 8)

Well it can be difficult to tell b/c girls are different. If she laughs at all your jokes. Try yawning and if she yawns too she is definitely scoping you out. Body language is a good way to tell. Especially if she is a shy girl. Good luck and hope this helps a little!

when you talk to her, she rests her chin on her hand and looks at you

she laughs at your jokes even if its lame

she walks real close to you

she touches your arm or something

she smiles and gives you looks

Just watch her! Take it from a girl!!! The main ways I show guys I like them is usually when we're together I end up sitting very close to them. If she touches you, whether your legs hit when you sit or she puts her hand on your knee or she puts her arms around your shoulders, just look for the little things! Do you guys joke and tease each other a lot? That's a major sign of chemistry. Also watch her eyes. Does she make eye contact with you alot? Another good sign.

 

Here's one method you might try to see. Look deeply into her eyes. If her eyes flit away nervously, she might not like you as a boyfriend. If she looks into your eyes and matches your gaze evenlly, good sign! If she gazes deeply into your eyes and then all of a sudden turns away and blushes, she definitely feels something for you! there is this girl i really like i havent known her long but we went to an amusement park together and i had one of the best times i have ever had she said she had lots of fun the whole time we were laughing and messing around but one thing she has a boyfriend and she had said she was going to break up with him ..when we got back i was talking to her on the computer and she acted like nothing had happened and she was talking about her boyfriend i dont know what to think

hey, i need some help on this subject, oky.

 

i have a friend, knew her all my life, her mum is actually my mums friend from waaaaaaaaay back , before i was born. so anyway , i have a brother her age who use to go school with her, now when she stops over. i have a very strange feelng she has feelings for me, now the only problem is ,

 

that she is younger than me ,only just turned "13" and am "17" she actually likes spending alot of time with me, she does all the following "she laughs at my jokes" , "she likes being next to me" "touching my arm "strangely enough she likes to play fight with me" "when i look at her she laughs and smiles" , i also do the same, its like we look each other in the eyes theres a pause , for about 4 seconds as we stare at each other , than we laugh, i try not to but i always end up smiling,

 

when we talk she talks about what she does with her friends and stuff and what she gets up too,but then again she dosent really ask about me, friends hobbys what i like doing,she dosent live near us, she lives not to far away , about an hour drive away and she visits , now am not sure if she likes me or not, because if she sees a guy she likes she'll say his fit , and shes also got a boyfriend. but then i think is she really even old enough to have feelings to make her do the things she does , and i think am starting to get attracted to her

 

but wait. before this gos ANY further , i need to tell her that us isnt possible, well not for another 4-5 years anyway,but id feel awfully stupid if i did and i was completely wrong , and she dosent have any feelings.

 

 

but she is very very VERY outgoing, i dont just mean outgoing i mean really out going ,like she'd get up on stage infront of hundreds and hundredsof people and sing dance whatever, shes also cheeky aswell, so am positive she would have NO problem telling me how she really felt.

 

ok so this is what i need i need some solid ways to tell if she likes me or not, while talking maybe i can say somthing? and if she replys withthe right thing?, i dont think posture and body language is important , shes outgoing and isnt shy around me in the least, ive very recently heard of this way its rumour but "when you are talking to her/him, look into her/his eyes and if they are dilated it means one of the following"

*shes intrested in you

*shes intrested in the topic of conversation

*or she just isnt getting enough light, so hereyes dilated to allow light to pass through so she/he can see clearly

, i really need to get this mess sorted out before it goes too far. and it becomes real ***ed up, if the parents click on , get suspicious, it isnt going to look good, especially on my part. i need to somhow talk her into telling me how she feels , without making it to obvious.....obviously

 

oh and i also no what type of guy she likes and i dont fit that description to well...she likes half caste/black guy's.am not to sure about facial features..and...am quarter caste, BUT i look white. you can tell am quarter aste tho , ...but hey, maybe personality shines brighter than looks

 

and i wont be to selfish to the person who made this thread ill give you some advice.....hopefully you will get down to this point and hadent left halfway through my long-ass paragraphs of writing

1:shes trying to make you jelous, hoping that u have feelings for her so u wil tell her how you feel/ask her out, or even fight for her love, that is.......if she is an attention seeker and loves all the attention, if not, thats probably not the reason"

2:she may have or may not have feelings for you, BUT she is also commited to her boy-friend and loves him,so shes tryin to tell you in a less painfull way that you shoulnt persue her. again i could be wrong, its really hard to tell,

 

what kinds of stuff was said at the amusement park? what do u mean by messing around? like kissing? hugging? or just joking around , ...also what does she say about her boyfriend? , maybe shes just like you, trying to figure out if you like her or not. trying to make sense of it all.

 

keep ya head up tho , if things were ment to be the'll happen, just give it some time, keep speaking to her, learn more about her, her feelings, her likes and silikes build a solid friendship up then take it rom there.
