Leap of Faith

 

Standing on the edge,

looking down below.

No one there beside him,

he is standing all alone.

 

Nothing seems to make much sense,

what happened to it all?

What difference would it really make,

if he were to take the fall?

 

CHORUS:

He takes a leap of faith

and now he's falling down.

the world he sees

is coming crashing down.

It's a leap of faith

that things cannot go on,

and then he's gone...

 

 

He married his college sweetheart,

had two kids along the way,

and somewhere on the road of life,

they had lost their way.

 

He left his wife and children,

not knowing what he'd find,

he found love and lost it all,

and somehwere in his mind...

He woke up one morning

and decided to go home,

he was tired, lost and scared,

and afraid to be alone.

He had been with another woman,

but they took him back anyway,

and now the thoughts and memories and pain

are tearing him away...

 

He only sees the darkness,

that blinds him day by day, and

he's not the same man anyway...
