jessijess
ok, here's the short version of the backstory. I met a guy 2 weeks before Xmas, hung out with him & talked to him alot. New Years Day he left togo back to the army & 2 weeks later he left to go overseas. We've been keeping in touch the whole time & I've gotten an email from him everyday this week. While we're not waiting for each other (he;s going to be gone for over a year), we know that we want to try things out when he gets back. Ok, now for my question. As of right now he's in Kuwait but he's supposed to be going to Iraq in about a week or so. He gave me his address today but told me not to send anything until after Feb 15th. Now, I'm not sure if I should even send him anything for Valentine's Day because of the amount of time we've known each other & physically been in contact, but if I do, anyone have any ideas? Thanks! ShuShu Fontana
You could just send him a card after the 15th that says you were thinking of him. They love mail over there and it won't be too much or over the top. I think that would be good. Link to comment

jessijess
What about the whole Valentine's thing though? Any thoughts on that? Link to comment
ShuShu Fontana
Valentine's Day is fine. I wouldn't sendhim a card delcaring your undyinglove to him, but a cute Valentine's Day card saying you're thinking of him on that day would be great. Go for it! We all make way too much out of Valentine's Day. You like him and he likes you. Send him a V-Day card! Link to comment
