nonenone Posted March 13, 2015 Share Posted March 13, 2015 It takes time. Get a good book. Call a best friend and agree to meet. Be with people that you really love. Different little things help. And observe yourself and everything from some distance. Link to comment
lizardo55 Posted March 13, 2015 Share Posted March 13, 2015 I'm also a few days in with NC.. has been difficult for me as well. I think I miss mainly the daily interaction of having someone.. and making plans, too. Weekends are hardest for me. Keep yourself busy! We can do this Link to comment

empathyneo19 Posted March 14, 2015 Share Posted March 14, 2015 No Contact is a struggle. I have made the mistake of contacting the ex since her and I parted ways. It has now been almost seventy days since I last contacted her. It is still difficult at times, however; as time progresses I feel more confident and secure. There really is very little to no point to contact an ex. I see that in retrospect now. It is time to move forward and onward. A distraction is just that, a distraction. Do not just distract yourself from your feelings, they still will be there when the distraction is over. Feel your feelings, find healthy ways to cope with them and manage them and eventually you shall heal from them. Link to comment
