Really down in the dumps- help me out here

I've liked this girl in my biology class for six months now- on Valentines Day I gave her a rose and she liked it and since then we have been friends. Just recently I talked to her on AOL IM and she concluded our brief talk with a "I love you" as a friend i suppose but the next day she joked around about it and made me feel like crap, as if she doesnt even like me.

Unfortunately that was a Friday and I have to deal with it the whole four day weekend. This is a big deal to me b/c she has repeated to me several times she thinks of me as a brother/friend. But I want to keep it the brother/friend way but for some reason she has been treating me bad. Any suggestions?

Just tell her. Friends is cool and all, but you've been treating me like shit. And explain to her your reasons why. Confidence my man. Confidence.

Perhaps she is uncertain about her own feelings towards you and as a way to deal with them she treats you badly....just a thought...
