How do you stay friends with a girl you like?

I met this girl at a club and we really hit it off. We hooked up that night but later she told me she had a boyfriend. She wants to stay as friends but I have feelings for her and I'm not sure if I can withhold these feelings. What can I do? Should I just stop talking to her altogether?

Its tough. I have been going through the exact situation. If you can handle it, you can have some really good times together. I would say just go along with the flow and dont be to serious about anything. The ball unfortunately is completely in her court.

If you feel that you cannot control your feelings for her then its not a good idea for you to be friends with her. The problem is that if you cannot hide your feelings then you are going to show her these emotions and its not going to get you anywhere. It only complicates things that she has a bf. It would be in your best interest to not stay in contact.

Actually things changed. apparently her boyfriend doesn't trust her anymore and they're trying to sort that out. So doesn't look like we can even be friends. It's a shame.
