I just got her number, now what do i say? need help fast!

A friend just got me the number of a girl i met at a party. We basically only said hi to each other, so i don't know her at all. I'm supposed to call her later tonight and i have no idea what we are supposed to talk about. How does this work? I've never done this before and i'm not great with conversation to begin with. Her friend told me not to ask her out. I don't know what to say to this girl. Any pointers please? Thanks.

Ask ehr questions. Don't tell her things, but look for openings when she tells you about an interest of hers. If she likes something, ask her about it. If you ask her about all the mundane details of her life, then she will feel interrogated. Start off makign sure she knows who you are, ask her how seh is, and ask her how her day went. See if in asking about her about day, you can find out an interest.
