...to those of us about to face today...a day which tests the very core of our ability to get back on our feet, dust ourselves off and continue moving forward as if nothing ever happened.

 

Here's to those of us who had the strength to finally say, "That's enough"...and finally have the courage to start our long, lonely walk through the rain of tears, embarrassment and realization it wasn't meant to be.

 

...and here's to those very special friends who stood by us the entire time...always listening to us cry while delicately reminding us we deserve so much more.

 

I think I'll go outside and smell the roses...not ones that have been cut...but the ones still planted...growing...enjoying the sun and the fact they're still very much alive.
