i hate feeling sad

Hi all i was at my aunties funeral today was really sad as funerals go, but looking around at my family with there husbands and boyfreinds and girlfreinds, i felt really sad not to have my ex with me to comfort me, why is life so cruel we have both had no contact for mnths after being together for nearly 4 yrs and only engaged for 3 mnths life is so cruel and sad i just cant get my head around why we never discussed our break up we just both went NC just feel really sad and alone life is just so too short
