Girlfriend being bestfriend?

Quick question: Girlfriend and I have been dating 5 months and are very close. Started off slow but now we have no problem seeing each other 5 days a week. We have both discussed moving in together by next summer. The other day my girlfriend said I am slowly becoming her best friend in addition to being her boyfriend. What is the deal with that? Good sign or bad?

Good. Unless you have a commitment issue. Have you never been to a wedding? "Today I marry my partner, my lover, my best friend..."

That's a good sign. But it's a bad sign if you don't think that's a good idea. In my opinion, you need close friendship in a relationship - not just the relationship. Without friendship you have nothing.

Only been to a few weddings when I was younger....
