Im just not friend material......I think...

Well Ive always been kind of a rebel and non conformist in some ways....that being said I enjoy lots of "normal" kinds of get togethers

and outings. I just cant seem to find solid friends who I can get out with

or do things with. It would be fun to just hop out and do shopping and lunch

or go to a movie with a friend like when I was younger. A lot of the women

I know are so exhausted and wrapped up in their families and problems they have not inclination to just trip the light fan-whatever every now and again.

 

I had one friend who I had a falling out with over the holidays. We have been friends for about 20 years but she does not reciprocate which has hurt me on an ongoing basis. She puts money and her business ahead of everything and everyone so why should I feel special? I guess its because when SHE was 'down and out in Beverly Hills' I really tried to help her and now that she is living in a fancy house in the hills and doing very well, she cant be bothered with her old friend anymore.

 

So I have like two or three other friends that I can see from time to time and I guess I will concentrate on them now. Its such a shame that people dont cherish and work on friendships more and make them a priority.
