LC I am no good at NC

I talked to him again today...We were supposed to go to a wedding reception and to a show tonight. He initiated contact and told me to tell the boys sorry that he couldn't make it. I just told him, yeah you should be here. I am trying hard for NC but when we talk he seems like he is just as hurt as I am. We have to see each other next week and I am holding out hope that we might reconcile.

 

Man, shouldn't have drank last night I would have probably been more strong today. Anyone have any experiences that had a positive outcome with keeping Limited contact. I guess I am having a hard time just letting him go.

The only way thats every worked for me is no contact. If I hear from an ex I get thrown right back. Even a gift I recieved the other day knocked me for six because it was from him. I didnt reply to the gesture though.

 

Its just too hard to speak to exes for me.

Don't feel bad, we all do it...when you're ready for full blown NC to help you heal your heart, you'll do it.
