How to deal with female friend "pulling away"

Thanks norsewoman....I hear what you are saying and I do plan to make another overture - to invite her to a BBQ coming up (or maybe a walk prior to that). This will be my third overture with no reciprocation from her so if she does not accept and does not contact me after that, then I will just have to accept my lumps I think.
