Does your diet have any effect on sex?

Recommended Posts

I was wondering, as of late, my diet is all noodles, oily food, meat and fast foods, occasionally eating vegetables. I don't constantly eat fruit, only once in a while. I was wondering does your diet have any effect on sex, sex drives and erection, because as of late I think my sex drive have decreased, or maybe is something else.

Thanks, and hi to everyone on this board.

Drinking health shakes, eating fruits and veggies, exercising every so often, and eating lots of meat have made me less into sex unless porn is on for ten minutes straight. Although, masturbating constantly has increased my horomones and my dopemine and girls at school have become more attracked to me. It rules.

So, masturbate twice everyday for a week and then just stop! AND SHABAM! With a good sex drive you'll be teh pimp daddy.

I would think that diet does affect sex. A lot of sexual feelings are ultimately controlled by chemicals in our bodies, it the concentrations of things change, so might our drive and performance abilities.

In general, anything you eat that makes you feel good, strong and energetic will have you feeling better about sex as well. Eat badly, you likely won't feel quite as great about things.

Anyway, that's the way it is with me. Healthy diet = healthy body = functions well in ALL ways.

If you don't drink a lot of fluids, you will notice this when you orgasm. Not sure if this is the kind of thing you are after though.

Barf - not sure how stopping masturbating suddenly increases your sex drive. It might make you more horny for a bit, but I'm not quite sure that's quite the way to do it. I've always thought if you keep yourself happy that way, you'll be more relaxed, and confident. Besides, guys your age are ready again 5 minutes later, right? But hey, no prob. Whatever works for you is great.

lol of course diet affects sex! What happens if you always eat the wrong food and constantly get stomach problems. lol ok that's probably not on! But it just depends on what you mean by diet - affecting sex.

Foods can affect our senses and believe it or not, you can actually get turned on by foods. Your diet can also affect your testosterone levels so overall I'd say yea, diet affects sex. But for me I reckon it's only a lil bit so it should'nt matter too much.

Thanks to everyone who has replied (and sorry for reviving the topic, being a bit busy as of late), judging from the majority of comments from this thread, I'd say that the diet plays a crucial role in sex.

I didn't tell you guys that its not sex that's the problem (I'm stilla virgin), I'm talking about erection problems. I don't really want to think I have Erection Dysfunction problems, because I'm only 18 and I do get erections, but not at the instant of watching a porno movie or something (my girlfriend knows that I watch it and does not find it a problem, she said its normal for guys to watch it), my sexual thoughts have decreased as of late and thereforeeee, I'd need to stimulate my penis by rubbing the head to get it up (Sorry about the details), I do cum when I masterbate, but its just that I need to rub the penis in order for it to go up, and other times during make out sessions with my girl it goes up because I'm being aroused, but not really really hard, just good enough. lolz

However, I do see my diet as a major problem to my sex-drive and testosterone decrease levels. I've been dining out alot, for the past 2 to 3 weeks (this problem has happened for 2 weeks now), I've been only eating dinner at home for like twice a week (my dinner consists of rice, usually fish and meat and veges... the usual Asian dinner). I've also been eating a hell of a lot of noodles lately, two packets in one meal, and sometimes 4 packets a day... I put both packets of flavoruing and I also ate a lot of KFC chicken and McDonalds. Exercise has also decreased as of these few months.

I guess, its just my testosterone problem, I would need to change my diet and exercise more. I'd hate to think its Impotency because the thought of that at a young age scared the hell out of me.
