Hey people I'm copyrighting this poem and giving it to my fiancee it's a poem that I hope we will share with each other through her battles of depression. If you have someone you love that is going through a rough time and you like this poem you may use it as you wish it is a very comforting poem. PM me or post here to let me know if you like it.

 

The willow tree

I stare away, accross these fields of gray

The heavens weep and it’s no wonder why

Your poor heart has been bled dry

 

It’s been tough, I won’t lie, when you

Won’t talk It makes me cry. Yeah it hurts

But I’ll make it through, I’ll make it through

Because I’m in love with you

 

When you hurt, I hurt with you

When you cry, I cry with you

I’m with you all the way

Everyday I’m by your side

Through the darkest nights

And the toughest fights

 

And don’t you worry, I’m here to stay,

I won’t go away, I won’t even sway

I’m the willow tree under which you lay

So go ahead, and stow away and come

On out on a better day, take your time

to heal and when it’s all done you will truly feel

 

But if it’s not your time, it’s not your time. But don’t you

Worry I’m here to stay, I won’t go away,

I won’t even sway, I’m the willow tree under which you lay

 

And when that storm, passes away, well embrace the light of day

And when you kiss, I’ll kiss with you

And when you smile, I’ll smile back at you

And when you love, I will love with you

Everything you do, I do with you

 

I’m here to stay, through all the stormy days,

I’ll never go away, I’m the willow tree under which you lay
