Pebbles Posted March 3, 2003 Posted March 3, 2003 Hi, I sent in a request for advice a few days ago with regard to dealing with separation and the hurt I am going through. I want to know if there are any strong christians out there perhaps any that have gone through separation. I need spiritual advice and support.
TIMES ENEMY Posted March 3, 2003 Posted March 3, 2003 I AM A CHRISTIAN.....TRYING TO BE STRONG! IVE BEEN AWAY FROM MY HUSBAND FOR OVER 1 YEAR.
jujigatame Posted March 3, 2003 Posted March 3, 2003 I'm not a Christian, but that's not to say I'm not a very spiritual person. I do, however, own and read a bible so I can better understand the religion and the people who adhere to it. Try John 1:3-5, Ephesians 3:17-19, and Job 1:20-22. Find happiness!
Trinity1607306450 Posted March 3, 2003 Posted March 3, 2003 My husband and I separated 6 years ago and our divorce became final 1 year ago this month. Interestingly enough, it wasn't until the divorce came through that I finally allowed myself to grieve the loss of the relationship. Try to remember that feelings are neither good nor bad they just are. If you are grieving, go with that, and trust in God that he will see you through this. Yes it's painful, but better to FEEL than to be apathetic and feel nothing, don't you think. Just my opinion. Try to surround yourself with others who have a strong faith in God, and who will be positive and supportive of you. Hang in there and God bless.
