needed wedding date on CL

Hey all. I just moved into a new city and I was messing around, okay looking for something, on CL and I came accross this post of a girl who is slightly older than me looking for a date for a wedding. I am a shy person typically but my inner instincts told me to respond, I am tryin to come out of my shell. So I asked her if she found a date yet and she replied with a picture and asked for mine. Now I am having second thoughts... Should I do this wedding thing or just stick to social groups?

I think you should send the picture and see if it leads anywhere. You never know who could meet and maybe even make a new friend. Try to think of new relationships as friendships, that may help break you out of your shell.
