I dont know what my purpose is

i dont know why im here

i dont know why im scared of you,

biggest of my fears.

I dont know why you treat me

just the way you do

i just know all my feelings

deep inside are true.

I dont know why you act

like you really dont care

cause when its just you and i

you have so much love to share.

I dont know why i try so hard

i dont know why i care

i dont know why i chase you,

when i know you wont be there.

I dont know why you express yourself

in the ways that you do

but i know somewhere deep behind your lies;

is a little bit of truth.

 

 

 

i thought i understood you

i thought i knew why

i thought i figured you out

truth, and the lies

its not about me anymore

its all about you

i know your whole life story

but do you know what ive been through

ive through hell & back

and ive tried to make you see

all the things you do notice

and the things you do to me.

i dont know what else to say,

and theres no much more i can do

because in the end i'll still be me

and you, will still be you.

 

 

 

theres confidence in your smile

but fear in your eyes

theres love in your touch

and false hope in your lies.

I just want to run away;

just to hide

cause im tired of the dark,

forcing belief when you lied.

Im tired of being left behind

and wondering why

cause if you can keep the truth behind closed doors;

then why cant i ?

Im tired of trusting

and being proved wrong

its my turn now

its been far to long.

If you wanna play that game

then i can play too,

its all the same;

nothing new.

so i'll sit back and let you have your fun

but i hope you know it will never be done.,

it will never be over,

it will never be through,

im sorry baby i thought you knew

cause when the sky falls down

and the stars shine through

it still wont be over, i'll still love you.
