The same old tale,

"I love you i do,

But i still need to set sail."

 

The words you use,

To tell me,

That you can't stay,

That i have to let you be.

 

You can't even look me in the eye,

Thats right i saw you glance away,

Tell me as it is,

Tell me you don't want to stay.

 

Your lies ring through my mind,

Your pointless words,

Repetive speach,

Like chirping birds.

 

So look at me,

Come on be brave,

For a while you helped,

But this is a face that you can't save.

 

So turn your back,

Just like you always do,

Don't glance back,

I don't want to see you.

 

I've been lying now to,

Yeah you think you know me,

Take off your rose coloured glasses,

And then you might truly see.

 

I smile away,

But i have lost it all,

Everyone has gone now,

No one will be here to catch me when i fall.
