comfyshoes
She crawled under my skin today and nestled beside my heart playing foolishly, she opened her claws and began to tear my flesh apart, strand by strand creating a crimson river on which she choked and spluttered gagging on my love and then she rested her head beside my ribs and closing her eyes She fell asleep, alongside my weakening heartbeat Link to comment

Jeen
Thanks when I read the title it reminds me of Frank Sinatra. He use to sing a song. I've Got You under my skin. Ive got you under my skin Ive got you deep in the heart of me So deep in my heart, that youre really a part of me Ive got you under my skin Ive tried so not to give in Ive said to myself this affair never will go so well But why should I try to resist, when baby will I know than well That Ive got you under my skin Id sacrifice anything come what might For the sake of having you near In spite of a warning voice that comes in the night And repeats, repeats in my ear Dont you know you fool, you never can win Use your mentality, wake up to reality But each time I do, just the thought of you Makes me stop before I begin cause Ive got you under my skin Thanks Comfy! I love your poem. Well when I hear the song in future I will think of your poem. Love Jeen Link to comment

Jeen
i am sorry to have ruined such a beautiful Cole Porter song for everyone!. there is nothing beautiful abou this poem, it is nothing but pain as words Why do we write poetry, songs, to give expression to feelings good or bad. For often we can relate to it, and for that reason we will call it beautiful for it do strike a cord in us. And no you didn't ruin the Cole Porter song for me. Jeen Sorry I use associations to remember things and that is why I said it the way I did in my previous post comfyshoes. Sorry please forgive me Link to comment
