I'm a strong believer in so long as that baby has all the love it could possibly handle, you will all cope - whether it be in a mansion or on the streets. Not a practical statement, I know - but I'm sure you get where I'm coming from.

Numerous times before the sexual side of things kicked in, we'd share a bed and just fall asleep in each others arms and wake up holding each other. I agree, it DOES form a stronger emotional bond, IMHO.

Angel, the first thing I see when I read this is self-esteem issues. As Hope75 has suggested, a professional may give you a non-biased outlook on the situation. They are trained in everything from confidence to psychotic episodes - so there's bound to be help in there somewhere!

As for people thinking you're mean: So long as YOU feel comfortable with SOMETHING, screw the others.

Underneath it all, you sound like a determined young lady. As you say, you're trying. Just don't give up. The grass isn't greener.

Distract yourself - thats all I can really suggest. If you feel 'the urge', get yourself doing something. Or look around the room and intentionally seek out something to talk about. Sounds lame, but could save you from boring people to tears.
