A poem for my soldier

my bf leaves in 3 days and I just wrote this little poem to put in a card to give to him before he gets on his plane... let me know what you guys think!

 

Words can't describe

How much I'll miss you

All the memories we've made

All the cute things you do

But don't worry baby,

I'll be waiting here

Through every sorrow

And every tear

I'll still be waiting

Till the day we can be together

No matter what it takes

Two years, three years, forever

It's going to be hard

But we'll make it through

Step by step

My mind always on you

And even though you're leaving

I'll carry you in my heart

And we'll always be together

Even though We'll be apart

shorty, you are going to make him cry at the airport, and i don't mean that as a bad thing. i'm sure he'll never forget the moment where he reads your touching poem.

thanks guys my goal isn't really to make him cry, even though I'm sure he will... I just want him to know that I'm not going anywhere... no matter how long he's gone.
