Cute Band Rat
I got my phone number changed to insure my ex does not call me, but the BEST part is that since I got my number changed I feel less of an urge to call him!!! Is that odd?? I feel more in control. Has anyone else done this? Link to comment
DN
I haven't had the need to do this but I can see exactly why you feel better. Action is better than inaction in this sort of situation and, as you say, it puts you more in control. You are not secretly hoping he will call you - because he can't. So that releases some pressure on you from within. It also is another step to letting go of the relationship and that is why you feel less compelled to call him. Keep going - you are doing well. searching1951
thats great. I am a believer in small tactical things that help a lot. I found that anytime my ex entered my thoughts, I could just picture a missle coming in and blowing her to smitherenes, like an Iraqi tank. That worked for a while. Link to comment
nicorette
awesome job. most of us would not have the courage to do that, or perhaps the need. but great work, it really took strength and i applaud you. keep going, and DONT call him Link to comment
minnie
I have changed my number too, and i know how you feel, its actually good not to be waiting for a call you dont really want to have!!! I have not called him in over a month. But, in my situation he now just turns up at my house, so i have spoken to him once or twice, if i can i dont answer the door. I feel good too! keep it up x x Link to comment
