I hope this post wont be too long to read, but i will try my best to explain.

 

Im 25 and i like a girl who is 24. We have known each other for about 6 years now, and have been good friends and kept in touch ok i suppose.

 

The girl i likes, travels a lot. She has only just got back from being abroad (about a month or so) I met up with her last year before she went abroad and when i was drunk i text her that i liked her, she didnt shrug it off and actually met me the next day for a drink.

 

She then went away and we lost contact a little as she wasnt here.

 

She is going away at the end of the week to USA to work till september, and we went out on Friday night and she got really drunk and so did i, nothing happened but when i got home to my house she text me asking why i didnt make a move, or offer to stay at hers; gutted!

 

Anyway i phoned her when she text that and we was chatting for 2 hours on the phone about things, then carried on to text - as this was getting on for 5am! She text that she does like me and asked to meet for a drink this week, i think we shall be meeting tomorrow.

 

I have a few concerns though, as since the Friday night she hasnt text much, but has said we can meet tomorrow night. When chatting to her on the phone she said she isnt very lovey-dovey and doesnt express how she feels towards people very well. My major concern is she is going to away, again!

 

Im just confused as to what she wants, and how to act around her, as i really respect her friendship and dont wanna kind of step out of line or not progress and wish i did!

 

Im guessing she does like me, i hope! She did say she did, but she was drunk.....ooo its so confusing, comments are much appreciated.

Shes told you she likes you and asked why you didn't make a move! Could it be any more obvious!? A long term relationship might not be practical at the moment, since she is away so much, but what is there to stop you having some fun, then maybe when she is back for longer you can both work out what you want?

cheers for the reply, i guess im looking for a second opinion. (edited, and a spell checker)

 

and that i think that she may have only put that cos she was drunk, but i suppose somethings come out easier when drunk :S

 

Why cant women be easy to understand!

 

Also with her going away that makes it hard for me to decide what to do, she has offered that i can go and stay with her in NY in the summer if i want.

 

I think im blind, i put it in writing and realise that she does like me? i will have to wait till tomorrow night to see what happens!

Just an update as its good to chat about things i feel.

 

I met her last night at the pub, and it was real good chatting. I didnt realise we had as much in common, only small things like preferences on food, music, fears lol

 

I didnt make a move, wish i did but i feel im holding back as she is going away and i dont wanna make it hard for both sides.

 

I still unsure how she feels, she doesnt let alot out

 

I was gonna text her when i got in, but just as i was about to text she had text me a joke text (winding each other up about mates, flirting with each other)

 

Im waffling on, just to let you all know i had a good night and she has invited me to meet her abroad, so im gonna check flight tickets today.

 

I also think i try to hard to interept watch she texts, maybe.
