Well Here's Three More

[StrangeFellow]

I often write poems in groups and thus they'll be published in the same manner, they may not be great but it just feels good to have them out.

 

Renewed sorrow within my

Eyes, shows me a world through tinted

Glass. Actions of past bring my

Repent. Knowelege of what happened

Endures; and with more

Time, comes my dispise.

Someone

 

The bitterness inside myself

Leaks through the jagged cracks,

The holes that others left in me

From words that won't retract.

 

Yet a hope glows in my sould

That all can yet be well,

If I were to find someone

With which my heart would dwell.

 

A person who would in all their

Kindess remove the shade,

That has for so long sat in front

Of eyes past hath decayed.

 

A longing so disrupting

That it doth shake the roots,

Of the life I'm bound to lead

Avec horror and dispute.

 

Through all, I know that she's out there

Searching just as I,

Because somthing as pow'rful as love

Mere humans can't deny.

The Cage

 

She stares out of confining cell

Not of iron but emotion,

Destroyed from a one-sided love

She seeks my consolation.

 

For all her life she's received naught

But hatred in return,

And now she's lost in the abyss

of eternal yearn.

 

A blinding hope covered her eyes

The chains of life constrict,

Now that she sees the cruel truth

There're horrors I shant depict.

 

Hiding on the sidelines

I've watched this play for play,

Still rooting for the home team

And waiting for the day.

 

I wish that I could aid her cause

And provide relief,

But she's so stricken in her ways

That there'd be no belief.
