taleahmage
Ok... So my boss wants to ask his gf to marry him. But her dream is to be proposed to at a Phillies game between innings on the big screen in front of 40 Thousand people. He's willing to do this for her. So here's his dilemma. He's terrified that he'll choke. He wants advice on what he should say to her. He knows it all has to come from the heart, but sometimes he gets tongue tied when it comes to powerful words and phrases. Any suggestions? He's really worried about how to start it all off... It has to be poetic and meaningful yet not cheesy. Let me know if you have any thoughts please! Thanks for your help. Link to comment
NJRon
Hmmm... "Gertrude, will you marry me?" (hurry up because no one is going to sit around for a speech... then hold a hotdog out with the ring around it because.. that's just memorable right there). Another way to keep from choking... write on chest and belly with body paint (Philly colors) "Marry Me" and then rip his shirt off Then he doesn't have to say anything. Poetic ... If I knew her name, it would help... hmm.. I would go for the unexpected personally... so this is hard. Sorry, not much help here. Link to comment
TheLegend
How the hell is he going to find a ring that big or a hotdog that small lol The shirt idea's not bad on the other hand Link to comment
NJRon
You'd have to carve the hotdog down yeah.. maybe it was a bad idea... hmm... Link to comment
Beyondthesea
He could write it down as well and read it to her if that would help. I would do the "marry me" on his chest, or on the big board! Link to comment
taleahmage
haha you cracked me up with the him ripping his shirt off... hmmm that might not be such a good idea there... but her name is Jackie. lol... Link to comment
thyroxine
I think that'd be great! He could always have the ring in the bun in place of the box. Link to comment
taleahmage
I'll pass on the messages to him. Thanks you all Link to comment
RayKay
Love the hotdog idea, that's classic, it could be timed that someone came by with the hotdog with ring to "sell" her just as he was proposing? I think he just has to genuine, as for worrying about it being memorable - she'll remember it! Link to comment
