What is the best way to go abouts getting over a girl that you have strong feelings for without ignoring them?

Unfortunately, it's almost impossible to get over someone if you're around them all the time. No contact is the best solution out there.

you basically need to understand that she's nothing special, it's her loss etc. You need to tell it yourself billion times, then you'll start to believe in it. Give no room to second thoughts, kill them with basically anything. Try to be as little around her as possible, but if she's like in same class, you just need to occupy yourself with a lot of other things. Go to gym on your free time - if you work out hard, you're not thinking of her. Talk to other girls, pretty girls, hot girls - you find that she was nothing to cry after.

interestingly enough--some might say paradoxically--the best way to get over a girl is to start liking another. Sure, getting over a girl may take a couple of days or a week but it happens. Being around her certainly doesn't make it easier.
