Do I have an STD? (Moreover, genital herpes)

Recommended Posts

I sure wish that I didn't have to come to a random forum and ask, but I'm not sure enough to bring this up with my doctor and such.~ I believe that I have some STD, genital herpes being my best guess. What confuses me the most is the fact that I'm still a virgin and I've never received oral.

The easiest way to describe it is goosebumps at the hair follicles that aren't entirely "skin" colored More whitish than anything. I don't think they're pus filled or any of that as none have ever popped or looked like they were going to. These "goosebumps" of sorts used to just be at the hair follicles but lately they've been slowly spreading down the shaft. The ones spreading downward hardly even come up at all, they're really only visible if you actually take a second and look.

The other "symptom" I'd say that I have, or had, was around 6+ years ago. There was a few years (ages 8 -> 10, I think) where I would randomly get a burning sensation in my penis when I would go to the bathroom. My parents knew about this (I had told them) but didn't know what it could be and they never mentioned it again. I'm sure that if they knew the reason, they would say so, but I just don't know.

I've looked into it countless times, reading forums and such like this one on the web to decide whether or not to do anything further on it. I know eventually I have to go see a doctor, but I'd rather hear from some anonymous sources first.

Do you guys think that this is an STD?

[Edit]Forgot to put something

These are completely normal. Do not try and squeeze them! It is not an STD.

There's a bit more that I didn't post because I just forgot about it until now.

I'm not circumsized so I have the oh-so-fun skin flap. On the inside, bottom rim (hard to explain where) is this weird rash. It's almost like minature versions of what I have elsewhere and they're close together. Groups of 10-15 of them. But the whole group is maybe 1.5 cm accross and a few millimeters wide. There's only one big group with a few random scattered ones. Didn't mention it in my first post, should have.

And to the guy above me, how long did it take for them to go away? I've had these for at least a year now.

Hey I have the same deal and I am uncircumcised. Except that for some reason i also have them on my top lip. They are really small white bumps and I thought they wre pimples or something so I squeezed one. Nothing happened except it hurt and i made my lip bleed. I dont see how it could be an std seeing as how I have never had sex and I had them before I ever made out with anyone. Still I dont know what they are.

Well, if two virgins have it then I'm doubting that it's an STD now.
