I met this girl off this dating website. we have not met in person yet although we did exchange cell #. i think she is a really nice person. the first week we spoke online she seems like a sweetheart. she did say that she believes in being friends first first. which i understand. i see were she is coming from, it looks like she wants to take things slow..getting to know you first. my concern is i think she is a great person, just not sure if i should continue with this or move on. i just need to know what she is thinking. do you think it's good to takeit slow and let her make the choice

Don't decide anything until you have met her in person. When is that likely to be?

that is what i'm not sure about...i think she has met a few bad ones in the past, so i think she is being very cautious in not making the same mistake again

Then give her some time if she needs it. Keep talking online, maybe by phone, until she is confident enough to meet you. But you don't have to wait forever.

i honestly think i over analysing the situation..i have not had a g/f in a while..so i'm being very anxious...i think i should back off

I think being friends first is a great idea. Take your time and get to know her as much as you can. If you go too fast, you may end up looking like a 'player'...
