I don’t blame you for wanting a romantic partner. At all. I knew for sure I’d never be truly happy in life if I didn’t marry and get the opportunity to have a family. I was specifically responding to your fear of being an elderly person shopping alone. My mom and sister have tons of friends and are close with family. Especially my mom - 88 and social butterfly including when it had to be virtual during the pandemic. Finding a romantic partner doesn’t guarantee that given death and divorce etc.
