turnthepage
They study the same degree both in the first year. They can talk for hours about music, films, tv. Seeing as the woman is commonly seen as the more mature of the two, do you think this is too significant an age gap? I understand it is a very generic question.. just curious for opinions.. pl3asehelp
For those two particular ages I think it's an enormous gap. One is or should be an adult while the other is a child. Link to comment
annie24
I guess it depends on the specific people and where they are in their maturity, and how compatible they are otherwise... Link to comment
lemondust
I don't think it's too much of a gap no. As annie24 said, it does depend on maturity levels, but I know of a guy similar to him, who met a woman of a similar age to her, and they moved in together, and appear to be very happy. zep
It's probably fine right now. But certainly the potential for this being a life-long relationship is not equal for both partners. Very few 23 year old men want to settle down for life while very many 30 year old women do. Also, having similar taste in media/entertainment isn't really saying much. It's similar goals and values that make or break something in the long term. But for a casual relationship it should be fine. Link to comment
abitbroken
Is one of these people YOU or someone you know? If one of them are not you, I would say butt out of their business. If this is you, I would just be cautious. You may intellectually match but there is a world of difference maturity wise in other matters, perhaps. Link to comment
itsallgrand
Generic question, generic answer: too big a gap. Other than for sex and fooling around. Link to comment
