i have been healing, and its been going pretty good..i have my ups, and downs, but i think in the end ill be alright but i was wondering...last time i talked to my ex..i ended things on my terms...she always wanted to be my friend, but i just said..."im falling back".... sometimes i wonder if she will hit me up, but its prob because im not 100% healed....lets just say a year from now...i decide to txt her or w.e( not caring about the outcome)..would that still show weakness on my part?, or since since so much time has past, would that even matter?

After a years time, IF(and thats a big if) you want to try and reconnect give her a shout. By that time, if you maintained NC, it won't matter.

If you stick to NC, you probably won't even feel the urge in a year. I know it seems impossible now, but it's true.

As has been said, in a year from now, she probably won't matter that much anymore.

Shoot for NC for a year, then contact her if you want to. By then your feelings will almost certainly be a lot different. After 6-8 months, you won't be worrying about it.

thanks for the advice, but nobody really answered my question... if i were to contact her in a year.. as a dumper, would she think im weak or needy?
