How can I forget about a woman!?

It shouldn't be too difficult since I don't know her.

 

I've been attracted to her for the past few weeks and have wanted to develop some relationship with her, but she is displaying absolutely no interest; even when I tried speaking to her. Although, this hardly serves to remove my interest in her.

 

I want to forget about her, I'm certain someone else has been in a similar position so I'm curious what tactics you have employed.

Do you closely associate with her a lot (say at work, or in class)? If so, limit the interaction to some degree, but not to the extent she feels something is up. Also, try and link negative things to her in your mind. after time, the crush may subside.

We have assigned seats, right next to each other. But it's not necessary for us to speak to one another in class.

 

I haven't spoken to her so much that she would think something has happened if I stopped speaking to her entirely--We have spoken to one another for 3 minutes all together, if that.

 

I just want to forget about her asap, she is driving me mad. In an attempt to appear more attractive to her I started wearing contact lens and changed my entire outfit. Not to mention I'm considering taking medication for my acne, although I don't have sufficient funds for it at the moment.
