I have myself back!

I just wanted to drop a note of encouragement to people, that staying NC is the way to go. About 10 months ago, I left an abusive situation because I knew that I deserved better. I often was in emotional pain etc. When I left, I left to get myself back and not let 1 person ( the ex) ruin my quality of life.

 

So like everyone on here says, time makes everything better. Soon your pain will only be just a little speed bump in the journey of life.

 

Summer is almost here and I have myself back! Damn, I am happy about that. I absolutely didn't want to drag things out and be in an unhealthy situation for years. I just want to be happy and not be preoccupied with dating right now. Taking almost 10 months to get over someone is a big drain and don't want to repeat it again soon with someone else. Am happy just to be alone for now.
