lvrnftr11
Looking for different perspectives and input. I have my own opinion on the following, but would like to explore others thoughts. Do you have a loved one that in public situations (but not face to face) will cut you down and demean you? And even after sharing how deeply it hurts, the assault continues. Is there one of you out there that does this, or realizes that you do this? Are you brave enough to share your thoughts? Link to comment
velvette
yes! my good friend was constantly patronized by her bf in public, mercilessly teased for 'stupidity' (she was infinitely smarter than him, lol), demeaned etc. it's a HUGE RED FLAG of disrespect. sure enough he cheated on her eventually (twice! or more??), lied to her, and then dumped her. now she feels so much more free, relieved, and happy. a couple should stand as a team in most public situations! you should always be able to count on each other to get your backs.
