Loneliness - Thoughts?

Do you ever wonder why people think it's so wrong to be alone? Why loners choose to be the way they are? In what way is that strange? After all, "society exists only as a mental concept... in the real world there are only individuals".

I dont think there's anything wrong with being a loner it's just about whether it makes you happy or not. I was much more a loner before I got in a relationship and now I've kind of lost the ability to be happy with myself alone, but I guess it's a race to see whether I regain it first or end up in a relationship again.

I think the company of others is nice on occasion but too many people will see that I'm by myself and assume there's something wrong with me. My parents for instance have never understood that I enjoy being in my room with complete solitude because it brings me peace and separation from them. When it comes to being with my boyfriend on the other hand, I can't stand being without him because I enjoy his company above all others.
